The inspiration for this design comes from the hard work of those who spend a lifetime chipping away at marble and rock to produce a head stone that lasts longer that the life of those it watches over.

I stumbled across this piece in the soul of West Auckland, Waikumete Cemetery, I'd recommend you try and find it for yourself.
